Fans of local talents, you’ll want to block out 3 March to 12 March 2017 , because Singapore Design Week is going to hit you with over 100 events and activities to take part in.
With that much going on, you’ll be hard-pressed to avoid missing out on any these activities lined up over these 10 days.
Here are the highlights not to be missed:
Design, Make And Craft Fair
At Design, Make And Craft Fair, you’ll get firsthand experience at being an artist and making unique pieces that you can truly call your own — from miniature Kopi-o Cup Rings, pottery-making, perfume creation and even spoon carving, these are a few unique experiences that will be offered.
It takes place during 4 and 5 March 2017, from 11am to 9pm at the National Library Building.
Design Trails: Design Day Out in the City
If you’re an outdoor person, Design Trails: Design Day Out in the City might be something you’ll enjoy taking part in — the thoughtfully-crafted route brings participants to innovative spaces around Singapore, including hotels, retailers and even offices.
The best part? Free shuttle buses will be circulating these stops, so you can explore at your own pace.
You’ll get to enjoy this on 11 and 12 March 2017, from 11am to 6pm if you for free.
There’s so much more to all of this; you can up-cycle your old t-shirts to special yarn, design your own vintage signs, make your own herb garden in glass bottles… and the list goes on.
