When it comes to music festivals in Singapore, there are some notable ones that come to mind such as Ultra Singapore and Laneway Festival Singapore. As the acts for these festivals are mainly focused on internationally renowned stars, local acts are often given a bit-part role, unfortunately.

For music festival-goers who want to support our local acts, you will be thrilled to know that HUGO and Zendyll Records have partnered up to present the Made In Singapore stage debut on the second day of the Music Matters Live festival happening 14 September 2019.

THELIONCITYBOY, RRILEY, ShiGGa Shay, Aisyah Aziz and Estelle Fly are just some of the local acts that will be making their appearance at this event. HUGO and Zendyll Records hope that this platform will elevate local artists to the mainstage of Music Matters Live 2019 and share the limelight alongside international artists performing at this event too.

Another piece of good news; the entry for this event is free, so come on down and revel in national pride as
Singaporean musicians belt out hit after hit.
Furthermore, the first 30 people to show up dressed in HUGO will also be entitled to free entry to an afterparty with DJ Myrne spinning at Zouk from 11.30pm onwards.

This festival is a great boost to the music scene in Singapore and it will be great to see Singaporeans showing support for our local musicians. Just let loose and groove to the music presented on stage while enjoying the fresh take on a music festival that can be rarely seen in Singapore.
