Marquee: The Biggest Nightclub In Singapore Which Comes With A Ferris Wheel & Slide

I have heard about the glitz and glamour surrounding Marquee Nightclub when it first arrived in Singapore. I was sceptical of it all, was it really that great? After all, we are in Singapore, and the strict alcohol laws make partying here a lot tamer as compared to that of Ibiza in Spain or even Bangkok.

Nevertheless, it was worth a try considering Marquee is a world-class entertainment venue and it is the fourth edition after Las Vegas, New York and Sydney.

Seeing famous international DJs such as Steve Aoki, Tiesto and Afrojack performing in Marquee started to dispel certain doubts about the fun that I could have. These world-class DJs are probably drawn to the reputation that Marquee has.

It might be good after all. They always say you gotta try everything at least once, so why not?

Futuristic Display

Already an established name in the nightlife scene of Sydney, New York, and Las Vegas, Marquee certainly did not disappoint from the entrance. As you take your first steps in this large scale nightclub, you will be greeted by an immersive display of lights lined up along the pathway.

Top grade technology at its finest as it gives off vibes of a sci-fi film with futuristic displays of lights. I can feel the bass kicking in from the dance floor even before stepping into the main room.

I was blown away upon looking at the sheer size of the space inside. There is plenty of space for you to move around from drinks at the bar to the dance floor. But of course, if you have the capacity to spend more, you get to enjoy the comfortable seats instead of squeezing with the crowd as the night gets on.

A Ferris Wheel And A Slide

Well, the main highlight of Marquee would be the giant Ferris Wheel that stands at a height of 30m. Located on the third floor, patrons get to view have an exquisite view of the entire club at the very top. Consisting of eight pods and individually fitted with a webcam photo booth, it elevates the clubbing experience to a whole new level.

Two massive spiralling slides spanning from the third floor to the ground level will immerse you in a psychedelic experience with flashing lights. It will probably take you to another world of your own once a couple of drinks start kicking in.

World Class Aesthetics

It is always a good idea to head to the bar for a few alcoholic delights before the dance floor. And yes, the bars here are so elegant looking and they complement the aesthetic beauty of this whole nightclub.

Clubbers will know the effect of a good lighting wall when the music hits. It gives that extra kick to make a great night even better. Marquee has fitted a massive backdrop centrestage where it is filmed with 8k technology on the screen. With neon lasers and lights flashing according to the beat of the song, it certainly livens up the party mood of the club.

The Marquee experience is definitely a must for party goers and those who enjoy the nightlife. It is no wonder top DJs are drawn to performing at this nightclub. From the stunning visuals to the aesthetic outlook of this place, it is a perfect complement to the famous anthemic dance music produced by renowned artistes.

One thing to note: you can’t buy a bottle of alcohol unless you have booked a table. Even for spaces that resemble a table, our experience is that you can get chased away by the bouncer at anytime so do beware.

But of course, be there to enjoy the time of your life and get ready to party till the lights turn on. Well, at least for me, it never did. A testament to a great night indeed.
