The serpent is a creature that is entwined closely with the history of humanity and surrounded by superstition. In Greek and Roman mythology, the serpent is seen as a symbol of representing wisdom, vitality and the circle of life.
BVLGARI has breathed new life to this symbol through fresh perspectives on its design and materials, turning it into one of the most iconic statement pieces of the 20th century.
Dating back to 2011, the snake has become the central focus of the bold, hypnotic and mesmerizing line of bags and accessories, where you see the finely colour enamelled serpent heads serve as jewel closures. How clever!
The new additions to Serpenti Forever collection retain the same features of the classic calfskin shoulder bag with metal chain strap. But, if you look closely at the python’s head, you can see what sets each bag apart from the rest is the colours of the gems used as well.
