Are you the sort of person who can’t concentrate on work at home? If you’ve fought many losing battles when distractions are around, then you would’ve probably realised that working outside is wiser.
Workwander is here to rescue you with bookings for workspaces and cafes going for as low as $5 per hour.
All locations listed on the app will provide basic needs such as WiFi (yes, please!), power sockets (double yes please!) and shared printers, although some amenities may require additional costs.
Spaces can also be booked for the whole day at a different price. For instance, a nine-hour slot booked using the hourly rate will cost you $90, while booking a full-day slot goes as low as $50. So be sure to check if you’re getting the bang for your buck on this one.
One of the better deals that we found is at Hopheads, a bar and bistro located in the basement of Haw Par Glass Tower.
Their $5/hour deal is made sweeter with a complimentary coffee or tea for the first hour of booking. The space is available from 2pm to 6pm on weekdays. Put in a day-long reservation of four hours with them and they’ll even throw in food credits worth $10!
