Ah, May the fourth. This sounds like the Jedi catchphrase because it is indeed, Star Wars Day.
In conjunction with the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope, there will be a festival aptly titled May The 4th Be With You from 4 – 6 May 2017 at Gardens by the Bay’s Supertree Grove.
Throughout the three day celebration, visitors at the venue can expect to find Sabertrees, which are essentially Supertrees that have been transformed into glowing light sabers from the Star Wars universe. At 7.45pm and 8.45pm respectively, there will also be an exclusive STAR WARS edition of the Garden Rhapsody light show set against the iconic soundtrack composed by John Williams.
Ending the nights of 5 & 6 May 2017 on a high, a STAR WARS-themed Silent Disco will commence from 9pm to 11pm at the Supertree Grove, where event-goers get to dance the night away to music blasting from on site headphones.

The main highlight of the celebration however, is the inaugural STAR WARS RUN at The Meadow on 6 May, featuring both a 4.5km run and a 10km version.
In addition, there will be extra STAR WARS-themed activities at the race village, including an outdoor movie screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Diehard fans will be pleased to know that characters like Chewbacca and Kylo Ren will be making special appearances from time to time.
So what are you waiting for? Join in the fun-filled three day extravaganza!
