Happening this 28 April to 14 May 2017, the annual Singapore Heritage Festival is back to fill you up with stories and a greater appreciation for our sunny home. This time, it’s back with more interesting ways to explore the nooks and crannies of Singapore and uncover the lesser-known stories of shared spaces and way of life.
Take part in heritage trails, tours, open houses and performances at spots all over the island. When it says that you will be exploring every nook and cranny, Singapore Heritage Festival really goes everywhere.
This year’s edition introduces ‘SHF Takes over!’ which allows visitors to gain access to unexplored or inaccessible spaces. This includes both popular and lesser-known neighbourhoods and places like Caldecott Hill, Bukit Pasoh, Little India and the Singapore River.
For those who are hardcore foodies, be sure to check out the recreated hawker scenes along the Singapore River which aim to bring you back to your parents’ times! If you love exploring on foot, do join the various heritage trails that span from the East all the way to Little India.
