The SKECHERS Sundown Festival goes local on 5 August 2017 at City Beach Resort, Labrador Park.
The music festival has been a welcome addition to fans that enjoy an eclectic mix of music from Asian nations. Acts have come from countries such as Korea, Japan, Taiwan, The Philippines and last but not least, Singapore.
This year, the stage is set with a focus on local musicians, with all seven acts hailing from our sunny shores. Organisers have taken a keen aim at supporting our own homegrown talent, showcasing a harmonious blend of various genres.
Ranging from Indie Rock to Mando-Pop, the line up promises to be a fantastic homage to supporting local. The music industry in Singapore is a growing one, with aspiring musicians literally spilling out onto the streets.
Event goers can look forward to the likes of acoustic musicians like Jack and Rai, as well as Pop-Rock band, The Summer State, who’ve opened for acts such as Simple Plan, Yellowcard and Mayday Parade.
