2. Singapore Writers Festival (1 Nov – 10 Nov)
Singapore Writers Festival is one of Asia’s premier literary events and will be holding its 22nd edition here in Singapore from 1 November to 10 November 2019.
This year’s theme “A Language Of Our Own” revolves around the usage of language and how it has evolved to accommodate a changing humanity. 6. Christmas on a Great Street (16 Nov – 1 Jan)
To usher in the spirit of Christmas, Orchard Road will turn into a wondrous street extravaganza with spectacular lighting shows and heaps of interactive Christmas themed displays.
This event kicks off on 16 November 2019 with a light up ceremony bound to take your breath away. Covering 3km of Orchard Road, there will be no shortage of entertainment as roving performers and pop-up stores selling food and drinks can be found along the entire stretch. 7. Wine Connection Tasting Fair (16 Nov – 17 Nov)
Wine Connection returns with a 2019 edition Tasting Fair over the weekend of 16 November as wine enthusiasts will be able to taste over a hundred wines and have the chance to interact with 40 international winemakers.

8. Singapore International Film Festival (21 Nov – 2 Dec)
Singapore International Film Festival is back for its 30th edition from 21 November 2019 to 2 December 2019. With over 90 films from 40 countries, there are a wide array of movie options for you to choose from and enjoy. Independent films and short films by local talents will also be screened, alongside red carpet premieres of highly anticipated films such as Downton Abbey and The Truth.
In addition to the movie screenings, there will be masterclasses and panel discussions where filmmakers, actors and industry experts will provide an insight into the creative process that goes behind each film. Development programmes and outreach projects are also made available to budding filmmakers.

The Singapore Biennale is a massive contemporary art exhibition held at various venues all over Singapore from 22 November 2019 to 22 March 2020. 11. Affordable Art Fair (22 Nov – 24 Nov)
The Affordable Art Fair is the world’s leading showcase for affordable contemporary art where it will be exhibited in Singapore from 22 to 24 November 2019. 12. Neon Lights 2019 (23 Nov – 24 Nov)
Neon Lights Festival is back for its 4th edition in November and you can look forward to a fun-filled weekend packed with amazing music at the Fort Canning Park.
