Everybody has a voice that needs to be heard. Poetry is a way you can express yourself and this 8 July 2017, you can listen to what Singapore’s Migrant Workers have to say at Migrant Poetry Evening.
More than 15 migrant workers will be sharing their heartfelt poetry at The Arts House while singers and dancers will put up performances as well. See things from a different perspective for once and use this as an opportunity to broaden your horizons!
The event will feature both Singaporean and Bangladeshi poets, writers and singers. Md Mukul Hossine who is the organiser of the event, wishes to bond Singaporeans and Bengalis together through this event.
Join them this weekend for a few hours of fun, joy and meaningful conversations by showing support and raising awareness for the voices of Singapore’s largely forgotten migrant workers.
