Set off on a voyage of illusions with GIFfest Singapore from 4 to 11 October 2017 at 7 Gillman Barracks. Captivate yourself with mind-bending illusion GIFs made by our fellow Singaporeans.
GIFfest Singapore is an exhibition of GIFs produced by Singaporeans to promote the creative talents of the youth. The theme ‘illusions’ will whizz you into a world of our very own Houdini and Blaine.
Graphic Interchange Format or GIF for short is a looping soundless series of still images that move fast to appear to be in motion. You would normally see them used in pop culture as a reaction, commonly on Twitter.
This initiative by the National Arts Council and Noise Singapore hopes to provide a platform to engage young people to actively participate in the Arts to showcase their creativity.
