In the current rat race that is Singapore’s General Elections, Workers’ Party has been keeping their cards close to their chest, strategically playing them as they go. Just yesterday afternoon, they announced their first four candidates on their social media page and website. Here’s everything you need to know about them⁠—some familiar, some new.

1. Seah Xue Ling, Nicole Rebecca

• Age: 33
• Primary education: CHIJ (Katong) Convent Primary, Tanjong Katong Secondary School, and Victoria Junior College
• University Education: Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours), National University of Singapore
• University Scholars’ Programme
• Occupation: Associate Director at a Multinational marketing group
• Contested in the 2011 General Election in Marine Parade GRC with another party
• Married with a one-year old daughter

2. Muhammad Azhar Bin Abdul Latip

• Age: 33

• Occupation: Self Employed (Grab driver and running a small business)
• Divorced with one child
