In a shocking turn of events, a former national team athlete, who also happens to be a cast member on the popular Netflix show ‘Physical: 100,’ is being investigated for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. It is rumoured that the athlete is a rugby player, but his identity has not been released and is only known as A.
Wow, talk about being physically fit but emotionally unfit!
On February 23, The Gangnam Police Station received a distress call from someone in Cheongdam-dong at 10:50 a.m, Gangnam-gu, who claimed, “I got hit by my boyfriend. Please come here quickly!” As if they were ordering a fast-food delivery. Upon arriving at the scene, the police found A, the athlete, and accompanied him to the police station for further questioning.
But wait, there’s more. The police also found a weapon at the scene, like something out of a cheap action movie. Did the athlete really use it during the assault? Did he think he was in a competition where he had to beat his girlfriend with a weapon to win? The police will investigate and find out.
A police officer made a statement, saying, “Blood was not found on the weapon.” Great news! Apparently, it’s a regular thing to bring a weapon when you’re physically fit, just in case you need to assault someone, but hey, at least he didn’t draw blood.
The officer also mentioned that they are carefully checking the injuries again. Are they sure the injuries are from the assault and not from the athlete’s high-intensity training on “Physical: 100”?
Who knew that the intense physical training required for athletic competitions and the high-pressure environment of reality TV could lead to such violent behavior? Let’s hope justice is served and that the athlete learns to control his anger and resort to less barbaric means of dealing with conflict.
In other news, our favourite stuntwoman on ‘Physical:100’ Kim Da Young has also been accused of being a school bully.
