EMONIGHTSG : The B-Sides turns one on 10 August 2017 and it will be held at Refuge, CHIJMES.
The monthly escape for misfits of the past is celebrating its first year since its inception. Take a nostalgic trip down memory lane to your formative teenage years and expect to hear songs from alternative music, indie to grunge to pop punk and emo from that era.
This month’s theme will welcome you to The Black Parade, an album of the same name from the iconic group My Chemical Romance, along with nods to past volumes of EMONIGHTSG: The B-Sides.
On regular EMONIGHTSGs, THEBRYANSTATE from THE SUMMER STATE / VILLES and THIEVVES from DISCO HUE will be on the deck spinning your favourite tunes from the likes of Fall Out Boy, Saosin and so much more.
So if you’re looking to sing (or scream) your heart out to tunes you used to play in the background whilst you weep about your first love, it’s time to redraw that eyeliner and put on those skinny jeans for EMONIGHTSG: THE B-SIDES — it is THE place to be.
