Fans of the thorny king of fruits, rejoice! Resorts World Genting has announced its annual Durian Festival, starting 25 May 2019. The event runs daily till 16 September, from 12pm to 10pm. That is A LOT of durians for a long running time, so Singaporeans don’t have to worry about missing out.
At the Durian Festival, varieties of durians include D24, Mao Shan Wang, X.O., Red Prawn, Black Thorn and Tekka.
Stuff your face with durians and wash down your meal with more durian-themed desserts such as Mao Shan Wang chendol and durian ice cream! We hear that there is also durian coffee.
Wonder how that will taste like? To top it off, other tropical fruits such as mangosteen and rambutans will be available as well.
Held at the Genting Grand outdoor carpark on level 16, you’ll truly feel like a king high above everyone while enjoying the king of fruits.
