Do you wish to carry a light around with you wherever you go? Not just any light either, but a light that can instantly turn up the mood and ambience.
Diah was designed to be a modern and portable LED light, allowing users to express their creativity by building the individual sheets of lights like Lego. It was a project crowdfunded on Kickstarter, and now that the goal of S$20,000 has been hit, Diah is about to become a reality.
The Diah light provides a dim light that exudes a relaxed ambience. You can use it in multiple ways; as a night-light on your bedside table, a dining chandelier for a romantic feel, bring it on camping trips or to the park with your significant other, or even use it as a prop for a fancy photo shoot!
Powered by batteries, the lights can stay lit for up to 48 hours straight. That means you should have plenty of time to get through your romantic dinner.
However, the true potential of Diah can only be fulfilled with more sheets of the lights. It can seem a little underwhelming if you only have a set of two Diahs, because there aren’t many ways to get creative with just two pieces.
If you ask me, I’d say you’d need at least four sheets of Diahs to create something amazing. You can then improvise the lights based on the environment: wrapping them around leaves and other objects, or hanging them on trees. It’s all up to you!
The best part? The Diah light (before assembly) is flat and paper-thin and can easily fit in your bag. To light it up, simply fold it around and snap the two magnetic ends together. Now you can turn any occasion into something Insta-worthy in an instant.
The Kickstarter campaign will end on 1 December 2017 so check out the site now if you’re keen to purchase!
