As someone who suffered the brunt of cabin fever, writing about store reopenings make me really happy to know that we can go out and do things in public again (in a socially responsible way of course). Our favourite Japanese clothing retailer, UNIQLO is opening most of its doors on 24 June 2020 and will progressively reopen its other stores as the time comes.

Here’s a list of stores that is reopening on 24 June 2020, Wednesday:
- ION
- Tampines 1
- Parkway Parade
- Plaza Singapura
- City Square Mall
- Bedok Mall
- Changi Airport T1
- Kallang Wave Mall
- NEX
- The Seletar Mall
- Waterway Point
- Tiong Bahru Plaza
- PLQ Mall

The opening hours are as follow:
- Changi Airport T1 – 9 am – 6 pm
- All other stores – 11 am – 10 pm
Some safety precautions Uniqlo requires their partons to adhere to include: wearing a mask at all times, temperature taking before entering the stores, the use of hand sanitizer, and limited number of shoppers in-store at a time.

If you haven’t kept up, there are a number of new arrivals that are waiting for you to peruse in-store. A new arrival that would definitely get Singaporeans excited is the Billie Eilish x Takashi Murakami collection. This collaboration features a range of T-shirts of the unisex variety with bright colours and eye-catching graphics. I can already imagine this collection being sold out within a matter of days from its reopening.
Personally, I’m hoping that the AIRism masks that are being sold in UNIQLO Japan will be made available in Singapore soon. As someone who wears glasses, I often find my glasses fogging up as I breathe while wearing my mask. So to have a mask made out of AIRism would be a dream.
Remember to stay socially responsible and safe as we live our best Phase 2 life!
