3. Admire Flowers At Gardens By The Bay’s Floral Fantasy (Special Rates till 13 May)
Gardens By The Bay just keeps impressing us. First, it was the breathtaking display of cherry blossoms at the Sakura Matsuri, now we are treated to the floral splendour of their new Floral Fantasy. It offers a dreamy fantasy for viewers to enjoy with four themed garden landscapes, including Dance, Float, Waltz and Drift. With each landscape seeking to dazzle you with a myriad of lush flowers and vegetation.

4. Fitness Fest 2019 (27 Apr)
Did you know that Singaporeans are one of the most inactive in among our Southeast Asian counterparts? I am guilty of the couch potato life. Well, it’s time to make a change at Fitness Fest 2019 where you can workout with fitness celebrities, explore unconventional sports like callisthenics and obtain valuable health tips.

5. Singapore Garden Festival Horticulture Show (27 Apr – 5 May)
If you have green fingers, then the Singapore Garden Festival Horticulture Show is made for you. Held in Jurong Lake Gardens, this event advocates everything about horticulture and agriculture. It also provides a platform for industry partners, students and the community to demonstrate their talent with a myriad of competitions.
The SGF Horticultural Competition is essentially a “plant pageant” where the participants’ cultivated plants are judged based on aesthetics. Besides that, you can feast your eyes on the Aquascape Display that showcases beautiful underwater garden landscapes.
Given that global warming is on the rise, it only feels right for us to support green events, right?

6. Shilin Night Market (26 – 28 Apr)
Rejoice my foodies, we do not have to fly to Taiwan for their night market food as Shilin Night Market pop-up is coming to us this April. Aren’t you thrilled by the thought that authentic Taiwanese delicacies, such as mee sua and chicken chops are now within reach?
Besides a gastronomic experience, the Shilin Night Market boasts an array of entertainment options, including arcade game booths and movie screening. With scrumptious food and entertaining activities, this event is definitely worth vacating your other weekend plans for.

They always say literature and musical gets you the girls. So here you go, a perfect date idea, which you don’t have to rack your brains for.
