Step back in time with Felix the Cat as he celebrates his 100th birthday with Skechers. The release will make up part of the BOBS from Skechers range, a collection that donates to animal charities.
Felix The Cat shoes will be available exclusively for women. The range consists of six pairs of shoes, each in the colours black, white and red – hues associated with the iconic cartoon character and reminiscent of the cartoon strips where the character first found fame.
The series of shoes include slip-ons, sports trainers and platform shoes. The slip-ons and platforms have Felix motifs printed all over it, while the insole is completely red. The sports trainers boast a more minimal design – the upper is black with red lining and Felix’s face grins up from the tongue of the shoe.
With every purchase from the Felix The Cat collection, Skechers will donate to Petco Foundation to save the lives of dogs and cats. Petco Foundation is dedicated to bettering the lives of animals through raising awareness, and holding donation and adoption drives across the US.
Skechers has also partnered other nostalgic cartoons – namely Garfield and Scooby-Doo for their BOBS from Skechers collections in support of animal charities.
Since the establishment of the BOBS from Skechers in 2015, Skechers has raised over US$4.8 million for various animal welfare organisations in the USA.
