Murder At Mandai Camp—An Interactive Live Theatre Performance Not To Miss

The best thing that emerged out of this pandemic is innovation. Other than the consuming entertainment on streaming sites such as Netflix and YouTube, Sight Lines Entertainment has decided to take things up a notch and launch a local Zoom interactive live theatrical production.

Murder At Mandai Camp aims to remove the barriers of performing arts for the masses and to keep up with the unprecedented times where consuming entertainment in a traditional setting will never be the same again. This new genre of entertainment follows the audience as they play the role of the lead investigator who is tasked to uncover the truth behind a young recruit’s gruesome demise.

The story starts with the participant being sent into a breakout room after discovering the disembowelled corpse of the young recruit. These breakout rooms and scenes are immersive as they have actors, moving backgrounds, and elements to fully encapsulate the participant into the scene as the production takes place. Real-time chat windows and messages will transform smartphones into a personal Investigator’s Notebook, where audiences will “log” evidence and clues to connect the dots and discover the ultimate truth.

The beauty of the interactive aspect in this production is the power of the audience—participants will get to decide the production’s ending through a collective vote. This production will take place on three days, from 26 – 28 June 2020. Tickets are based on the pay-as-you-wish system, with prices starting at S$15. Upgrade your experience with the laut cocktail package at an additional S$38/250ml to heighten your adventure as you solve this gruesome murder with drinks to compliment.

You can order your tickets via SISTIC and the Zoom link for Murder At Mandai Camp will be sent to you two hours prior to the event. Ensure that you check your email at 8 pm on the day of your purchased ticket.

This production is for ages 18 and above only.

Date: Friday, 26 June 2020, Saturday, 27 June 2020, Sunday, 28 June 2020 – all sessions take place from 10 – 11 pm
Price: S$15 & up
