Singapore Urban Design Festival 2018 will be making its first foray as part of Singapore Design Week 2018 this 14 – 18 March.
The festival is the first of its kind in Singapore and will include a five-day programme that hopes to promote the growing global movement in place-making and activation of public spaces.
The roll-out of events happening across the five days includes a summit for like-minded people to raise awareness on urban design, a street party involving art and live music, as well as an urban design route with temporary projects designed to encourage people to stay and play.
It’s awesome to see public spaces transform into platforms for engagement and this festival will be centred around that idea! You won’t be able to view an empty parking lot the same ever again.
