Taking a leaf out of the previous edition of Singapore Poetry On The MRT, poets who are taking part in this year’s edition of SingPoWriMo (Singapore Poetry Writing Month) will be reciting their poems on public transport once again.
The location is different this year though – the poems will be read on the bus this time. That’s right, you can recite your poems throughout an entire bus journey on 4 June 2017!
Starting at Tampines Bus Interchange, participants will board Bus 67 and get a chance to recite their poems about anything bus-related – buses in general, the bus system, waiting for the bus to come, or even about a location along the route.
If you’re interested to listen to others, or read your own writing, remember to RSVP on the Facebook page. Seats are limited to the capacity of a bus (duh).
Date & Time: 4 June 2017, 1pm – 3pm
Price: Bus fare applies
