Loud engines, sprays of sand and loads of adrenaline.
Motorcycles are fun, there’s no denying that. Even more so motorcycle races which are no doubt extreme and dangerous making it a great spectator sport, even if you’re not a grease monkey or motorcycle enthusiast.
This year, the Singapore MX (Motorcross) Beach Race will be held at Tanjong Beach, Sentosa. I for one have always been excited to see anything pristine and tranquil get a little roughed up.
This year’s course is designed by Pablo Toribio, a former Dominican Republic MX National Champion and trainer to international professionals such as James Stewart and Dave Milsapps. If they’re household names to you, then you really won’t want to miss this.
There are a slew of events to catch, from ‘Novice’ levels all the way up to ‘Expert’, so it’ll be a feast for those wanting to learn more about the sport. The inaugural event will even feature a junior category where kids get to test their skills and finesse.
Whether you’re an avid fan of Motocross or are just curious, it sure does sound like an awesome weekend at the beach.
