Singapore International Film Festival is an iconic event in the local arts calendar that is widely attended by international film critics, being the largest and longest-running film event in Singapore as well.
In celebration of Singapore International Film Festival’s 30th anniversary in October 2019, they will be holding a portrait exhibition and free outdoor movie screenings at Gardens By The Bay.
Here’s some sneak peaks:

Nature’s Playground is an exhibition that invites visitors into Gardens By The Bay to look at the showcase of works by Singaporean storytellers and media personalities. They will be gathering 10 of these works to showcase their nature-inspired self-portraits and creative journey. Get to learn the concept behind each piece of artwork and understand the personal story of each artist from 18 October to 1 December 2019.
Ranging from filmmakers such as Kirsten Tan and Yeo Siew Hua to celebrities including Fiona Xie, they are among some of the local talents in the art scene that will be making their appearance at this event.

Moonlight Cinema returns this year with three films focusing on youths and their journeys chasing dreams of stardom— you can view these films alongside an array of food options from vendors at the outdoor event.
The three films, ranging from comedy-dramas to musicals, screened are Empire Records, The Chorus and Secret Superstar. This exhibit will run from 25 to 27 October 2019 held in conjunction with Gardens By The Bay Youths Celebrate!.
