It’s that time of the year again, where art enthusiasts can come together and celebrate their love for all things artsy.
Packed with performances, screenings, and masterclasses, this year’s Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA 2018) is going to be a grand one.
The three-week long festival starts on 26 April 2018 and ends on 12 May 2018, with many of the activities running at The Arts House.
Some highlights include the Page To Stage series — showcasing iconic works throughout history, reinvented and presented in a theatrical medium, which gives the audience a more interactive and immersive experience.
En Pointe is another exciting series, featuring ballet dancers from all around the world doing what they do best. Performances are not the only thing you can look forward to; there will also be a few masterclasses for those who want to get grooving.
Out of the Box is a unique series of performances in Singapore. It showcases various performances held in unorthodox locations, and sometimes at random timings. Look forward to pop-up duets at various times and locations, as well as storytelling in an old church.
Additional perks for people who take part in the festivities include food and beverage discounts at selected retailers.
The three-week festival will showcase art in its various forms, so there’s bound to be something for everyone. Check out the festival guide to see which event interests you the most!
