Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD) is holding their next adoption drive on Sunday, 6 August 2017 at The Singapore Polo Club!
The adoption drive will have puppies as young as three months old to much older. Some are puppies that have just been found, and others might be young dogs in foster care who are in need of re-homing.
In May 2014, Save Our Street Dogs also joined a special initiative called Project ADORE. This allows for bigger dogs of the Singapore Special variety to live in HDB flats.
Project ADORE includes compulsory basic obedience training carried out by AVA-accredited trainers. This way, bigger dogs don’t end up being a nuisance to neighbours – increasing their chances of finding a FURever home.
Recently, I’ve heard about lots of puppies being found in local factories. Dedicated to the welfare of Singapore’s street dogs, volunteer-run organisation SOSD provides rehabilitation and re-homing to save many of them from being culled.
If you don’t have space at home to adopt another bundle of fur, there are lots of ways to save Singapore’s street dogs.
Sponsoring a dog at SOSD offsets the cost of upkeep, and sponsors are free to come down to visit and play with their fur-friend as much as they like. Alternatively, foster a dog by offering it a place in your home until it finds an adoptive family.
But, if you’ve already fallen in love with any one of these puppies (how could anyone not?), fill up an adoption form to get yourself started on the adoption process!
