Keep a lookout as The Promontory, home to part of the largest carnival in Singapore, will soon undergo an exciting transformation in conjunction with i Light Marina Bay 2018. From March till April 2018, The Promontory area of the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival will become a neon playground, Gastrobeats!
While the Bayfront Event Space will remain as it is, The Promontory will be boasting a fresh look and visitors can look forward to new games and more food booths.
Plus, you’re in for a treat with live performances by various popular artistes like M1ldlife and Cadence.
If you’ve exhausted the typical carnival-esque photos in front of the game stalls, here’s your opportunity for more photo ops!
Keep an eye out for the new neon-lit decorations that Gastrobeats will be bringing down. It’s best to head there after sunset to see the glow-in-the-dark and LED games in full glory.
In addition, Gastrobeats will also feature Sustainability Sundays at Terra Village from 18 March – 1 April . This sustainability-themed programme will allow participants to shop for earth-friendly products and participate in eco-craft workshops.

I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us as The Promontory transforms into Gastrobeats. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that there’ll be more food options to try out and decorations to play around with!
