Remember Uncle Ringo, that little carnival right next to your HDB block when you were a kid? Well, Singapore is about to level up its carnival game up with the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival.
Uncle Ringo is cool and all, but this is going to take the cake.
For starters, this will be the largest carnival in town, spanning across an area as big as three and a half football fields, right at Marina Bay. That means you also get to admire the breathtaking scenery of our city at this carnival.
There will be over 40 thrilling rides and games to get your adrenaline pumping. Obviously, there will be classics like the roller coaster and a pirate ship.
But there will also be rides like the Star Flyer, which is a tall tower that will bring you 35 metres off the ground to give you a good view of our skyline. A water ride called Log Flume will also be there to give you a splashing good time.
You’ll also find all the old-school carnival games, so guys, you can try your luck at winning one of those plush toys for your girlfriend (or vice-versa, it’s 2017)! All the fun will begin on 15 December 2017 and last all the way till 1 April 2018.
I’m personally very excited for this carnival. It will be a great place to go with your friends and family, or to bring a date to. This is going to make me feel like a kid again, but this time, I get to ride the roller coaster.
Dates & Times: 8 December 2017 – 1 April 2018, 4pm to 11pm (3pm to 2am on Xmas Eve & New Year’s Eve)
Prices: Free admission, games and rides start from $4
