The largest book sale in Singapore returns to Suntec Convention Centre. POPULAR is hosting their 13th BookFest from 6th to 15th December 2019. Doors open at 10 am and the event will conclude at 10 pm across the ten days.
BookFest 2019 will take up Halls 401 to 406, a total floor space of 13 000 sq ft, making it the biggest book sale they have ever hosted. The IT and Gadgets Fair is back as well within BookFest after an overwhelmingly positive response, and the Titbit Carnival is growing into the it-place to stock up on your favourite snacks.
School’s out and the children are in for a treat – the calendar is packed full of activities to keep them occupied while parents shop. Sweat it out with Geronimo Stilton in a Zumba party, and catch a glimpse of your favourite Pokemon. For the artistically inclined, colouring contests are held on three different days as well.
Older kids who need study tips are welcome to join the enrichment workshops at the event. Secondary school students getting ready for their GCE O’ Levels can get tips for scoring in Physics on 9th December. For students sitting for the Primary School Leaving Exams and want to ace their language components, English and Chinese enrichment classes will be held on 12th December and 10th December respectively.
BookFest isn’t just about books – bring family and friends to a mass workout held by the Health Promotion Board. Search for Fitness Party @ BookFest 2019 and take your pick of the classes available such as Zumba and KpopX Fitness. Try your luck at the lucky draws and win up to S$10 000.
