Party within Singapore’s biggest garden at Hydeout. Debuting in April 2020, the multi-genre music festival hopes to be the Asian equivalent of California’s Coachella Arts and Music Festival.
The festival is the first of its kind in Asia and will feature a mix of international and local musical talents. The Meadows in Garden By The Bay will play host to a multi-stage arena for the mixed-genre music festival. Headlining acts include big names like British pop star Rita Ora and American rappers A$AP Rocky and Gucci Mane.
Among the first wave of artists announced to grace our shores also include an entire line-up of DJs and producers – DJ Snake, Sam Feldt, and San Holo. Singapore’s very own Mryne will also be performing. In a second-wave release, it has also been revealed that Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Yellow Claw, and Alison Wonderland will be performing, and more are to come closer to the event date.
Unlike Coachella, which has the same acts lined up for two weekends, Hydeout will have two separate groups of artists playing on each weekend. Event managers used music streaming sites like Spotify, YouTube and Google Trends to organize an inclusive experience that as many people can enjoy, both locally and regionally.
Hydeout will take place on 10, 11, 17 and 18th April 2020, starting at 4.30 pm to 11.30 pm. Tickets start at S$138 for a single day pass, and S$238 for the weekend. Keep up with their website for new information.
