Didn’t manage to catch the Coney Island cow while it was still alive? This coming 12 – 20 January 2018, you can get up close with cows, bulls, and even goats during the Pongal Heritage Carnival taking place in Little India.
Although Pongal is a festival typically celebrated by Indians to give thanks for a great harvest, the carnival will be open to the public to allow people to learn more about the rich culture of one of the four major races in Singapore.
Bring your kids along with you to the mini animal farm located along Hastings Road where they will be able to learn about the significance of each animal to the Indian culture!
If animals aren’t quite your thing, then head down to Campbell Lane where there’ll be a mini festival village with unique festive souvenirs and performances, or take pictures with the pretty festival lights and decorations along Kinta Road.
Dates & Time: 12 to 20 January 2018, 10am – 8pm daily
