Pink Dot has persevered to send a message to us Singaporeans about diversity and the freedom to love. This 21 July 2018 at Hong Lim Park, Pink Dot 10 will be held to continue this powerful annual rally for their voices to be heard once more.
Pink Dot, which is a non-profit movement in collaboration with the LGBTQ community in the Little Red Dot, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
Such a milestone has led Pink Dot 10 to showcase festivities and activities with more active community participation. In fact, two weekends before the actual rally, everyone can come forward at PinkFest which will involve 20 private events such as workshops, film screenings and talks.
At Pink Dot 10, notable local filmmakers will showcase campaign videos sharing the hardships that LGBTQ individuals and families are facing in society, as well as feature artists singing on stage and other exciting activities which support the message of the Freedom To Love.
Like last year, the event will continue the use of barricades and check points for attendees to present their photo ID prior to admittance into the park.
Let’s embrace diversity and stand strong with our LGBTQ loved ones, so save the date!
