Pokemon fans, keep your eyes open! From 10 – 16 August 2018, as many as 1,500 Pikachus will be roaming throughout Yokohama Minato Mirai, Japan. With 12 different locations throughout the city, you won’t be able to escape these cute and friendly yellow creatures!
Amongst the 12 locations, there are several must-see highlights if you’re a true Pokemon fan.
The Pikachu Carnival Parade
A total of 100 Pikachus will be parading around Nihon-Odori for an hour, so pick out an outfit with anything yellow to join in. Don’t miss out, because this will only happen once in the entire week!
Up In The Sky & In The Water
Both the sky and water will be infested with Pikachus. A boat will be cruising through Nippon Maru Memorial Park and The CUPNOODLES Museum Park, while Airship Pikachu will be hanging out above the city.
Try to spot them and grab a photo!
Super Soaking Splash Show
Have a splashin’ good time at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, where two tons of water will be blasted using water cannons.
You may get completely soaked, so remember to safeguard your mobile phones and other electronic devices.
If you’re heading to Tokyo this summer, mark your calendars for this Pikachu Outbreak! It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see these yellow critters, so don’t miss out (and don’t try to catch ’em all).
