“I guess this is it.”
The six friends surveyed the house for the last time and left for their usual coffee place at Central Perk. Hear the gentle acoustic strumming and allow your lenses to scan the empty home for the final time. Oh, that parting soreness in your heart during the finale of Friends, does feel like a breakup?
After almost 16 years, this reunion is happening. Our favourite Friends cast–Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer–is reuniting on HBO Max, the online streaming service, for an exclusive unscripted special.
Presently, this reunion is untitled; however, Kevin Reilly, CCO of HBO Max, gave this edition a tentative name “The One Where They All Got Back Together.”.
With unified camaraderie, the entire cast shared the great news on their Instagram account with the same picture, except LeBlanc who pulled off a “smart-Joey” stunt. Posting a picture from M*A*S*H (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital), an American war comedy-drama, he captioned it the same. Someone did not get the memo, again.
The reunion special will be filmed in the original Friends soundstage in Stage 24 at the Warner Bros Studio. It is available in May 2020 after HBO Max launches.
Maybe it is time to get our HBO Max accounts ready. HBO Max costs around US$15 a month (approx. S$20.95). Check out their site for more information. Alternatively, it is time to call your real friends for help.
