A library for migrant workers will be opening its doors in Farrer Park this January 2018. Started by Mr Rubel Anarb and friends, the group aims to encourage reading within the local migrant community.
Migrant Library Singapore will allow its visitors to read and borrow books freely, and is currently calling for donations for books so here’s your chance to give back to our nation’s builders!
The library would greatly appreciate books across all genres, as long as they are in good condition. Any languages other than English would be preferred, as the library has already received overwhelming donations for English books.
If you’ve always wanted to do something for migrant workers but aren’t quite sure how to, we certainly encourage donating your old books to the Migrant Library Singapore!
Date: Opening end January 2018
