Japan’s JR line has announced a limited edition Mickey Mouse themed shinkansen bullet train. This special Go! Waku Waku with Mickey service runs from June to November 2019 in the Kyushu region of Japan only.
The exterior of the train is beautifully decorated to the Mickey theme. Perfect for the ‘gram!
Adults and kids alike will be delighted to see the famous Mickey ears on the cabin’s headrest covers. Time for selfies, guys.
That’s not all! Limited edition Go! Waku Waku Trip with Mickey shinkansen memorabilia, such as tote bags, pens and notebooks are sold onboard. I think these make great souvenirs to friends and family which are different from the usual Tokyo Disneyland goodies.
Worried it will break the bank? We hear that this special service is available to JR pass holders (or regular single entry tickets) at no additional cost.
Just check the JR website for the operation schedule and look out for the “Sakura” or “Tsubame” Shinkansen. We wonder if the train announcements will be made in Mickey’s voice? That sure is swell.
