Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N: Get Up Close With Your Favourite Superheroes At This Interactive Exhibit

Marvel fans, you’re in for a treat! The Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N at Science Centre Singapore is the closest you may get with your favourite superheroes like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, and many others.

Here’s where you’ll take on the role of a recruit, go through tests that will challenge your strengths, intellect, reflexes and knowledge. And also learn about the science, technology, engineering and mathematics behind the Marvel universe.

Before entering into the exhibition, you’d have to download the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N Mobile Training Device app. Alternatively, you could rent a device for $5 to walk you through the different areas, answer questions, and ultimately promote to becoming an Avengers recruit.

You’d be brought into a holding room and receive a short mission brief by Agent Maria Hill, and thereafter, let the fun times roll!

At the Captain America station, you’ll get to learn about the physiological enhancements from Dr. Erskine’s program, learn about the indestructible vibranium shield, and perhaps steal a photo opportunity with it.

Various interactive stations in the High Performance Test Lab lets you compare your strength to that of Captain America’s, as well as a cognitive reflex assessment and endurance test. Are you fit enough to be the next Super Soldier?

Using the same Super Soldier Serum, The Hulk’s transformation is totally different as compared to Captain America. Enter into the green monster’s mind, and find out what goes on in it. Witness his powers when you touch on the various points of his body on the live display screen.

Just look at the difference in the size of our hands! With a stature and build as such, it’s no wonder he could take on anything.

The Tesseract encompasses unlimited energy, and you can try to reopen the portal by placing your hands on the display screen and study the electromagnetic readings. It was fun watching it light up, almost like it was ready to explode from the rumbles.

Learn about the Bifrost or rainbow bridge that Thor uses to travel between Asgard and earth. When you’re ready, go ahead and try lifting the Mjölnir. 

Try as you might, we’ll have you know that not even our muscled friend here could lift an inch of the hammer off the simulation. We are not worthy.

My favourite section of the whole exhibition — Iron Man has got to be the coolest Marvel hero! Pardon me for being bias, and let me indulge in my inner fan girl mode for a little. Heh.

There’s a huge display of armours including the War Machine exosuit and the mighty Hulkbuster.

Can I just say it, it was a marvel to stand upclose in the Hall of Armours, a collection of MK 1 – 7 suits, which lights up into action and showcases its capabilities.

Don’t forget to suit up like Iron Man in augmented reality. Just as it is in the movie, you’d have a glimpse of Tony Stark’s role, taking flight in it and flighting villains.

I won’t spoil the entire thing for you, but you’ll be getting assigned to The Avengers and teaming up with friends to defeat Ultron.

On display are also the superheroes suits and costumes, their weapons and specifications that will complete the multi-sensory experience. What’s a superhero without his/her nemesis, you’ll find them throughout the exhibition too.

The Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N is a dream come true for Marvel fans, not only fun for the kids, but everyone who has faithfully followed Stan Lee’s universe. Need I convince you more to check out this Marvel exhibit?
