Marina Bay and the Civic District are set to transform into a spectacular countdown celebration avenue, with events happening concurrently in eight different hotspots starting from 26 December 2017.
Up till the last day of 2017, the façade of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore will be transformed into a canvas for light projection displays. And for the first time, the Merlion and ArtScience Museum will join in with their own transformations from 29 December 2017 onwards.
If you’re a fan of firework displays, you’ll be glad to know that they’ve upped the ante this year, with minute-long displays hourly from 8pm to build up the excitement towards the grand finale at midnight!
Besides the crowd favourites, there will also be four experiential activity hubs across the Marina Bay area on New Year’s Eve and the one I’m looking forward to the most is happening on The Float @ Marina Bay.
The space will host an outdoor bazaar as well as a picnic space with an unparalleled view of the fireworks. Only 8,000 tickets are available so you should snap yours soon here.
There’s just way too many good things going on, so you better check out the website for something that suits your fancy. I’ve always avoided Marina Bay on New Year’s Eve but with so much happening this year, I might just have to give it a shot.
Dates: 26 – 31 December 2017
