Good news for all art lovers — enjoy free entry to the Singapore Art Museum at Late Nights with SAM every second Friday night of the month until March 2018!
Opening hours will be extended to 9pm on these two nights with free entry starting from 6pm.
Wind down after a stressful week with an outdoor dining experience at Standing Sushi Bar‘s pop-up from 6pm to 10.30pm.
Enjoy an alfresco picnic set up with food like yakitori sticks, enoki and bacon sticks and salmon skin. Sip on some craft beer while enjoying the ambience or have a glass of wine instead.
SAM will also be hosting a meet-the-curator session from 7.30pm to 8pm where visitors can join in the discussion on selected artwork from the current exhibition, Cinemera.
Cinerama: Art and the Moving Image in Southeast Asia showcases collections from 10 artists in the region. The exhibition features hand-drawn animations and video installations that explore the history of the moving image as well as its present day representations and its future potential.
After touring the museum, linger behind to enjoy live music performances by local artistes from 9pm to 10.30pm.
