Japan’s bringing you closer to the all-too-familiar Sanrio character with their opening of the Hello Kitty Showbox on Awaji Island in Hyogo prefecture.

The Hello Kitty Showbox will showcase full lineups of Sanrio artwork, music and performances; all of which you can enjoy whilst you indulge in hearty meals at the Hello Kitty cafe or restaurant.

Enjoy three-dimensional Hello Kitty projections and a visual show at the Hello Kitty Dream Gallery, revel in the interactivity of the Hello Kitty Dream Entertainment show where you’ll be able to join in and sing a medley of songs and partake in dances and musical numbers.
There are three performances per day on weekdays and four per day on the weekend.

In addition, don’t forget to throw your yen in the air (not literally, cause rude) on limited edition Hello Kitty merchandise in the store.
Not only is your entertainment taken care off, satisfy your stomachs with dishes that are focused around being environmentally conscious with their organic and vegan food and sweets. Plus, they’re mostly (if not all), Hello Kitty themed!
