Instant noodles don’t just look good as footwear; apparently, they can look pretty cool as a purse too.

This is a hyperrealistic instant noodle handbag handmade by 27-year-old Dutch designer Rommy Kuperus, who specialises in turning your favourite food and snacks into things you can actually wear.

They won’t be as affordable as their edible counterparts though. The price of this purse is €295 (approximately S$454) without shipping charges added on yet. Here are some other ‘foods’ that we love, recreated as purses.

Need some meat to go with your noodles? Rommy has got you covered as well.

Rommy has also produced a series of ‘meat’ products such as a roasted chicken purse, as well as a raw meat purse- fresh from the freezer. They cost €395 (approximately S$608) and €325 (approximately S$500.50)respectively.

Looking for a whole meal instead? Perhaps you’d like the English Breakfast clutch, available for €325(approximately S$500.50).

Of course, there is always space for dessert. You can get a chocolate mint ice cream bag that will never melt for €295 (approximately S$454), or even a slice of rainbow cake for €325 (approximately S$500.50).

These food items aren’t just for the ladies. Men can also join in on the fun with Rommy’s bowties- here is the sushi sake bowtie which costs €40,00 (approximately S$62), and the green bean bacon bowtie which costs €75,00 (approximately S$115.50).
Don’t see your favourite food in the website? Don’t worry, Rommy does customisations as well. Simply leave your inquiry on the website and Rommy will get back to you. At a price of course.
The prices may seem a bit steep, but it’s worth remembering that these items are not mass-produced in factories but all handmade by Rommy herself. In fact, no moulds are even used, ensuring that each item you purchase will remain unique to you.
