Transcend beyond just eating food! Popular foods meet design at the second I EAT DESIGN event in conjunction with Singapore’s National Day. This two-day event will be held at Naiise Iconic @ Jewel Changi on 3 & 4 August 2019. In addition to shopping and eating, visitors can take part in workshops to create cute food-themed accessories.
Here are some highlights you can expect:
Shop
Taste samples and shop from more than 20 popular homegrown F&B brands such as The Golden Duck, Fossa Chocolate, Straits Preserves, PAPAPENG and more.
New vendors such as Klay.sg will be retailing local-inspired food accessories like durian earrings, Bandung earrings and nasi lemak miniatures. All of which are hand-painted and sculpted in great detail!
Skincare products from the beauty brand alche{me} and planners from acclaimed notebook makers ana tomy will also be on sale for the first time in Singapore at Naiise.
Feast
Six unique food vendors will be present at I EAT DESIGN for youto explore.
Singapore’s first and only edible cookie dough shop DOHKIE will be bringing a huge variety of cookie dough. Flavours include cookies and cream, original chocolate chip, and matcha.
Boufe Boutique Cafe will be selling their marbled red and white cakes. Kids will be able to have some fun creating their own marbling pattern.
Harritt’s Doughnuts cream cheese and cinnamon currants will also be available at I EAT DESIGN. Food lovers can shop from 20 popular homegrown food brands including The Golden Duck, Jewels by CHENG and Fossa Chocolate.
Discover and Create
Visitors can look out for fun workshops and activities such as the miniature food workshops conducted by Sherry’s Minis. Sherry’s Minis’ two highly anticipated workshops will let participants learn how to make miniature clay cake slices based on local-inspired flavours like Milo, ondeh-ondeh and bandung.
Through the I EAT DESIGN event, hopefully, Singaporeans can better appreciate the hard work of home-grow creatives through our common love for food.
