Netflix has certainly revolutionised the way we watch our favourite drama serials and movies. But with so much content on Netflix it can be a pain to browse the entire library of shows based on the limited number of generic categories that are provided.
Little did you know that there is a secret way to browse content on Netflix. Apparently, there is a master list of categories that go beyond the usual, “Action”, “TV Shows” or even “Sci-Fi”.
In Netflix’s master list of categories, each category is broken down further into a sub-genre and are assigned with a code. By simply keying in this url – http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/### into your brower and replacing the “###” with the respective sub-genre code, you can gain access to some shows that you would have otherwise missed while browsing the regular way.
For instance code “9302” will get you access to Anime comedies and “5161” will get you access to Foreign Documentaries. You can check out the full list here.
