Shortly after yesterday’s announcement of the Parliament Dissolution, Workers’ Party (WP) released a GE video featuring a mix of party leaders. Of the 12 people featured, some are new, and some might be familiar to the general public.

One might remember Ms Nicole Seah who used to be from the National Solidarity Party (NSP), and contested for the Marine Parade Group Representation Constituency (GRC) back in 2011. Back then, she was the youngest female candidate standing in the election at a mere 24 years old.
She quickly gained favour and was even described as the second most popular politician online, after Lee Kuan Yew. Her speeches went viral on YouTube—watch her at NSP’s first rally below.
Currently, it is understood that Ms Seah has been volunteering with WP for some time. Nomination Day for political parties to submit the paper for candidates running in the election will be on June 30, and Polling Day is on 10 July.
Unlike other opposition parties, WP has kept things mostly under wraps so far. For now, all we have to work with is this teaser video.
Earlier today, WP has also posted this video featuring their party members.
