Bonjour! All Francophonie (the quality of speaking French) lovers, this festival is for you!
From now till 28 March 2018, celebrate the French language and culture at the Francophonie Festival 2018.
A collaboration between Alliance Française; Lycée Français; and the embassies of France, Belgium, Canada and Switzerland; this festival seeks to bring the best of Francophonie culture, complete with artiste showcases and movie premieres.
Catch the movie permiere of Noces (A Wedding) on 22 March 2018 which follows the story of an eighteen-year-old girl, Zahira, as she navigates her way through a conservative Muslim family in a quiet Belgian suburb.
Or perhaps, visit Guy Delisle’s cartoon exhibition (till 7 April 2018); Delisle is hailed as ‘one of the greatest cartoonists of our age’ by The Guardian.
You won’t find another Francophonie festival as exciting and large-scale as this, so seize the opportunity to celebrate Francophonie this March!
