Presenting the Duct Tape Party!
In collaboration with the Singapore Land Authority, The Local People has organised an Art Market and Duct Tape Party on the 21 January 2017 at 7pm. Expect to be greeted by a bazaar selling local handmade goods and a public art installation made out of duct tapes, hence the name.
As an art market collective known for holding art markets in unique spaces, the location they have chosen this round is under the West Coast highway viaduct which is, situated at the crossroads between Clementi Road and West Coast Ferry Road.
But that’s not all, movies will also be screened on the ceiling of the viaduct for event goers to watch as they recline on the comfortable mats and cushions provided. If the hunger pang strikes, attendees can also check out the food trucks to get some grubs.
As part of a good cause, the non-profit organisation Food From The Heart will also be stationed at the scene, so donate some food to help out the less fortunate while you’re there.
If you’re looking for a cool event held in a creative space to attend this January, this is where it’s at! Check in for updates with The Local People.
