Everyone wants to adopt a puppy, but why not do something that goes against the norm and adopt a military-trained dog?
MINDEF (Ministry of Defence) has put 12 dogs from the Military Working Dog Unit up for adoption until 15 June 2017.
These military veteran dogs are around eight years old or younger, and have retired from their duties as guard dogs or sniffers. The dogs have all undergone basic obedience training and have clean bills of health.
Though they are a little older and unable to keep up with the heavy requirements of their military jobs, these dogs are still active and lively.
As they all have different personalities and dispositions, a visit will need to be arranged to ensure that the dog you choose will be able to live happily and comfortably with you, in your home.
All you need to do is give the Military Working Dog Unit a call at +65 6424 6623 during office hours to arrange a visit.
Hurry and book a visit now! The ad put up by MINDEF on Facebook has close to 2000 shares, so be sure to call them as soon as possible.
