Technology is prevalent in today’s world—everything that we do revolves around the usage of technology and some of us might even be handicapped without the usage of our smartphones. We do not know if technology is killing us slowly or not, albeit all the advances in it that makes some of our tasks easier. Get a deeper insight into this subject as A Design Film Festival returns to Singapore for the 8th edition from 12 to 27 October 2019.
This year, A Design Film Festival Singapore will be themed around the evolving relationship between humans and technology, with films showing subjects that interacting with artificial intelligence, contemporary art, consumerism and others that reflect the world that we are living in today.
Films that will make their appearance in this festival include KUSAMA: INFINITY, that documents the life of the famed artist, Yayoi Kusama. Have a glimpse at the life of North Koreans as well with War Of Art which showcases the collaboration of art between Westerners and North Korean artists.
The films that will be screened are of different ratings ranging from PG13 to M18 and they will be screened on different dates as well.
