There can never be enough suggestions on what to do during these circuit breaker measures. If you find that reading a book takes too much mental bandwidth after a long day of work and watching Netflix just hurts your eyes from staring at the screen for so long, here’s an idea—colouring.
No, colouring is not just a child’s activity. If you didn’t know, some benefits of Art Therapy include the exploration of feelings and reconciliation of emotional conflicts. But why colour this particular drawing you may ask—because you can stand a chance to win prizes from Razer!
Coined ‘Stay Home & Color On‘, this contest is an initiative led by Razor Fintech. Open to all Singapore residents, no purchase required to enter the contest. Participants will be colouring a sketch by local artist, Yip Yew Chong and for every entry, Razer will donate S$1 to an organisation that’s fighting COVID-19 in Singapore.
Both children and adults are welcome to participate, with two categories catering to different age groups.
Group One: Children between 5 to 12 years old. In this group, participants are to print out the sketch, colour it and scan or take a photo of the completed work in a .jpg format to [email protected].
Group Two: For anyone 13 years and above. Download the sketch and colour it digitally with your editing software of choice. Submit your digital copy in a .jpg and submit to the same address listed above.
All participants must include their full name, age, contact number, and mailing address upon submission. Each category will have three winners.
The first prize is a cash prize of S$500, the second includes a Razer BlackWidow Elite and a Razer Kraken, last but not least, the final prize consists of a Razer DeathAdder V2 and a Razer Goliathus Chroma.
This contest will be judged by Yip himself and winners will be announced on 24 April 2020, on Razer’s Facebook and will be contacted via email.
