March 2018 is a month for film buffs, with the Cinerama project taking place at the Singapore Art Museum. Held over two weekends, it will bring you the best award-winning films and short movies.
Metamorphosis will take place in the first week of Cinerama, from 15 to 18 March 2018. A collaboration with the Asian Film Archive, the films will centre around sets in Asia.
The Singapore Arts Museum aims to revitalise mediums we’re used to, and give modern visual technology a new angle.
Through Metamorphosis, you’ll get to watch full-length feature films, such as People Power Bombshell: The Diary of Vietnam Rose, and a compilation of multiple short films including Study of a Singaporean Face.
These esteemed filmmakers come from all around the world, from countries like China and the US. Despite the stark contrast between every director, their films all focus on the historic happenings and events in Asia.
Take a breather, chill out, and watch a movie at the Singapore Arts Museum. You won’t regret it.
